    Does Oral Sex Cause Cancer?

A study published in early 2011 found an unexpected and unexplained rise in oral cancers that are associated with HPV. When researchers sought to find an answer for their results they found a separate survey, which found a rise in oral sex. Since it is very possible to spread HPV through oral sex many experts concurred with the findings and they were subsequently released to the public.

When media outlets caught wind of these findings, they ran with the story that our wanton oral sex was causing the higher incidents of HPV related oral cancers. Unfortunately, that’s only part of the story.

Dear Sexpert, How Can I Make Blow Jobs Safer Without A Condom?

You probably already covered this but, I enjoy giving oral sex, I’m newly single and feel like a super slut if I just give it to any guy. I want to be able to go down when I want, but I need to know how to be safe about it. How do pleasure guys without my mouth tasting like condoms?

Condoms do have such gross flavor. I completely understand you desire for other options. Fortunately, there are plenty of things you can do to lower your risk of contracting something that doesn’t involve a condom. Before I get into your question, I want to handle the question you didn’t ask.

Dear Sexpert: What Can I Do To Reduce Risk When Having Bareback Sex?

Sexpert Dictionary: Bareback (verb) – Sex without a condom. The term is mostly used by gay men. Heterosexuals tend to use the words raw, or natural to describe the same thing.

I’m very glad that you had the forethought to ask for advice on this topic. Too often people think that a condom is the only way to decrease the risk of STI/STD transmission. That is a very dangerous way of thought because if they don’t want to use a condom then they won’t think to take other steps to decrease the amount of risk their taking on.

Back To School 2010: Storage & Cleaning

Once you have your new toys you need a place to store them. So today we are going to give you some tips and tricks on storage and cleaning for your college life.

Depending on the size of the toys you have many good options.  I like to keep my lube with my paint, it’s about the same size and with the label removed it looks like thickener for acrylic paints. You could also buy some cheap lotion, clean the container and store your lube there. For your toys, one good solution is a mailing tube. If you move in with it most people will assume it’s nothing more than poster storage. The mailing tube option is really good for keeping all of your stuff in there. A tall tube can store lube, condoms, restraints, & toys.

To Wrap It Up Or Go Bareback... That Is The Question

I think we can all agree that sex is a good time. Sex is also exciting, but more importantly sex is risky. So, today we are going to talk about safer sex practices, but not in the normal sense. If I am anything, I am permissive. When I hear sex educators berate us with horror stories and crazy images in an attempt to get us to wrap it up, it makes me cringe. Sure STIs are a major problem, and people’s blasé attitudes toward safer sex are more than a bit irresponsible, but there is a better way to broach the topic.

I have sat through no less than twenty-two safer sex lectures in my life’s tenure. Each of them sharing the most explosive images of monster infected genitalia they could find. None of these scare tactics have ever dissuaded me from choosing which risks I am willing to take. I’m willing to bet that some off you share my same, or similar, outlook. So we are going to go away from the blue waffles of the world and into the practicality of everyday safer sex.
